very faint early positive--too early to be accurate?

Broke down this morning and did a HPT (First Response)-- it's 8 days since transfer (2x3d) and I got a very faint positive line! What do you think? Could it be too early to get a true positive? (I'm not scheduled for the beta till Monday.)
I POAS almost everyday and each day the line should get darker and darker (or every other day). This is very good news! A line, no matter how faint means it is detecting the pregnancy hormone in your body which means you are pregnant! Yeah! Congratulations! Keeping everything crossed that those sticks get darker and you have a good strong beta come monday!
Lines don't always get darker but pg is still fine

It really depends on how concentrated or watery the urine is at each test, plenty of women here have freaked when the line stays pale or gets lighter and darker.
I haven't even introduced myself properly to your group, and you're so very supportive- I really appreciate it! I've been going through this DE cycle pretty much alone with DH (haven't told friends, family, or colleagues, not because of the donor aspect, per se-- I didn't feel comfortable talking about OE cycles either). It's very nice to have people to share with.
When I was preg with my daughter,I did the Wal-Mart version of First Response test the day before my beta and got a line that you had to sort of hold up to the light and squint at just right to see, but it was there, and it was correct. I saved the test. Maybe that's gross, but I cut the strip off the end after a few days, afraid it might get moldy or smell, and kept it. It actually got darker over the next few days, but there are still 2 lines on it 9 years later. And there's no mold or smell. Congratulations!
No a line is a line and anyline is a positive.
My 'faint line' is asleep in the next room so you go ahead and darn well rejoice gal!!
contratulations. best, TH
