Donor Starts Meds TodayJune 7 2011 at 5:42 PM | Anon7 (no login) |
| From here on out, I'm going to be Anon7. Went in for 1st appt - my u/s & b/w were fine, and the donor is on track as well.
The clinic said her b/w came back great, and her antrals today are:
6 on the right
8/9 on the left
she goes back for another look on Friday
I continue w/10 units of lupron and add an estrogen patch as well as estrace 3x per day
3 day transfer currently scheduled for 6/21, but it may be a 5 day transfer, and the days may change a bit anyhow as all of this progresses
this is a shared cycle, so it's kind of mystical thinking about the donor and other couple/people out there who are on this journey with me, but who i don't know.
that's today's update. I'm nervous, but ready..... |

Sounds like a great start! Are you cycling at Shady Grove? I'm curious b/c Shady Grove shared risk is my plan B as an out of town patient of my last embie doesn't implant and grow. |

including meds. It's not shared risk, however. Whatever happens, happens. You just split the eggs, and thus the overall cost, with another couple/person. Good Luck!! I hope you don't need another try! |
