I am A+ and my children are B+ and O+. This means the only partner I could have been with to have my children would be B+ or B-. Anything else could potentially raise red flags.

We had our LO on 5/30/11. She had some initial issues that required that her cord blood be tested to see if her blood type was compatible with mine. I am O+ and DH is A-. Turns out babygirl is AB+....no way she could be mine---Donor was B+). It raised MAJOR flags with the lab who then questioned if we had the right baby! So much for no tell......

I made sure the donor's blood type would be compatible and wouldn't raise flags (her BT was actually the same as mine). We're no-tell and this was one less worry.
