Realised my last message didn't have a title and didn't know how to edit so reposted, hope that is okay???
Just reading the post below about shared egg cycles, and someone mentioned Cooper. Anyone know the costs of a shared egg cycle for the recepient at Cooper? Anyone done a shared egg cycle with donor who does IVF and recepient? I'm looking for costs and clinics where the donor needs to do IVF herself.
Not sure about the cost at Cooper. I am doing a shared cycle where the donor donates and there are 2 recipients who share the eggs retrived. My clinic in Houston charges ~ 15,000 for everything including meds.
I still have access to donor profiles with pictures lots of tall donors just for fun tall and thin or tall and large blonde, brunette or redhead light or dark skin? On website under downloads print out papers and send in asap. First get password form Pati Behr just e-mail and you should get password soon. Set up phone consult asap. Syracuse is where most donors live of course you could fly to Albany and rent car. If time is short you can ship frozen semen ahead we did and then just go for transfer. You will love CNY ,but stay on top of things via e-mail with Patti B. etc. Some donors have wait list so if you only want split ((stalk)) the donor list several times daily and when one is listed you like call immediately or she will be snagged by someone else cause CNY does NOT alert you about donor changes. We did all of the above and had success good luck!!
I'm not familar with an OE IVF patient donating her extra eggs

But there are many clinics with shared options which could give your DH comfort that there aren't any 'wasted' eggs. CT Fertility has a shared cycle option or you could pick frozen eggs both for lower costs. Don't know if either of these concepts will meet your goals.
