Well I'm here in Czech Republic, transfer tomorrow. Yesterday's day3 update showed 1x8cell, 1x6cell, 1x3cell and 2x2cell
That's not as good as last time. Looks like there are only two in the running and as I know from last cycle, they won't freeze any surplus here unless they are top grade blasts. There is no update today, so I find out tomorrow when I go in for the transfer what stage they will have developed to then. Not feeling very positive or as hopeful as last time, just hoping for a bit of luck to come our way.
I know this is such a hard wait, and I'm sorry things don't look so good. Remember, as long as you get one or two good ones, that's all it takes. Did you cycle at Reprofit, Aoife? Take care, Maggie (in VA)
I agree that it doesn't sound like you'll have any to freeze but that's not so uncommon there. (I did fresh cycles in Prague once and in Zlin 4 times and only ever had frosties once.) But the two that look good, look good. That's what counts.
when you read about everyone else having frosties, and it is sooooo much cheaper to do a frozen cycle, I can't help feeling sad about it. This thing, for me, is costing so much that I can't even think about it anymore once the money is transferred. Its expensive in UK and Ireland and I can't even imagine how the costs could be covered in US, I am constantly surprised and shocked by the figures I read. I just hope this is my last financial outlay and it will be a sucess! And the same wishes for everyone else on here too.
2 embies that look pretty good, when you really only need one to get the results that you want. I know the waiting is difficult, but I am just praying that you will have a strong blast to transfer today.
