I sent you an email the other day from my hotmail account. Can you reply. Didn't want to send from my works email.

BTW, my lady 6 days after transfer beta is 32.7. - this is after more than 20 failed cycles without the slightest bit of a positive in Aussie.

hopefully you don't mind the barge, but what did you do differently that caused a positive after so many failed cycles? Or was this her first DE cycle?

She has done everything differently

March 18 2012, 10:19 PM

We have covered absolutely everything. She has done 7 fresh DE cycles and surrogacy in Aussie, first cycle here. Its early days but hoping betas continue to double. She had exploratory surgery before (6 weeks) nothing was wrong except some small polyps, she is on steroids, clexane, thyroxine for raised TSH (this has risen again since pregnant and we are seeing an endocrinologist today). I'm just hoping the beta doubles tomorrow.

Heck thats an amazing result after so many failures. Don't envy her taking the steroids. How long does she have to take them for?
She must be smiling all the time even through the drug fog happy.gif

E&H. Well done for thinking outside the box for her and getting

this wonderful result. It is so sad to see women failing again and again and REs not thinking about extra testing or medication to help.

Good idea re. the endocinologist as well.

Good luck,
Daisy

OMG it more than doubled

March 20 2012, 1:15 AM

She is really pregnant 87.1 from 32.7 the 2 days ago (and we did the test 3 hours early). Its only day 8 today past transfer. Endocrinologist upped the meds a little but wasn't too concerned about the levels - her level is now 4.000 and T3 is a little down at 3.9 - normal range starts at 3.95.
