Well at 2:30 am I woke up and POAS and after about 2 minutes a second line appeared...hooray another hurdle passed. I learned from my experience last spring that I will not get too excited yet. My first beta is Wed and my second one is Friday the 13th (a little nervous about that as it was the second beta last spring that things started to go bad). Please keep your fingers crossed for me and my DH.
You are pregnant! How exciting. I understand your desire to not get too excited yet, but the fact of the matter is you're pregnant! Can't wait to hear what your beta is on Wednesday. Until then, try to enjoy it, even if it's just a little smile on your face. big hug. congratulations.
I'm so happy to hear this! I had such a strong, positive feeling about you and I'm thrilled it's now 'official'. Can't wait to hear about your beta on Wednesday! Congrats!
Hoping things continue to progress for both us us and we can be pregnancy buddies on the pink board. I found an IVF due date calendar. EDD for us for singletons would be Dec. 14 (maybe sooner for you if you have two beans growing). That would be the best holiday present. Did you get your beta results from today yet? Fingers crossed for doubling numbers for you. How is your donor doing?
That's great news. And while I know how hard this time frame is, try not to stress too much. And as for Friday the 13th, after my DD was born on Friday the 13th last year, I now consider that date to be a lucky day! Fingers crossed it will be for you too.
Mrs M. I prayed hard for you last Saturday night at church. It was a 90 min service so I could include everyone I could think of but I prayed esp hard for you and esp hard for dear Minniet too.
Its been a long road for you Mrs M. I am very very pleased to read of your positive.
Well done you!
best, THK
I appreciate your support. I've been making myself crazy. I only bought one hpt (on purpose to avoid making myself to obsessive but someone on another board wrote OPK can also be used to detect pregnancy (apparently LH and hcg have very similar biochemical make-ups) so I've been POAS on OPK and all the result lines are darker than the reference line. Just used the last one so have to decide if I can hold out another day for beta results...LOL. Everytine I see those lines it really is a happy time.
My fingers are crossed. Best of luck. There has been a lot of success on the board recently. I'm hoping it is a trend for all!! Like I said on another post above, a great swaying is...
"hope for the best and prepare for the worst"
Remember not to obsess about the worst. It is all too easy for women in our situation to do this and we forget about the hope, so try to enjoy this fabulous news.
