I purchased 3 BKL Model 253-A mounts for project pistols & 2 out of the 3 had striped screw hole, I had to re-tap out the hole`s to a larger size before I could even mount a scope to it. I emailed & called with no response to let them know the LOT# so they could atleast expect problems down the road from other buyers not a peep. needless to say BKL is on the bottom of my mount list from now on.
