.25cal clip mod

Greg and Grant, I took one of mine apart (.22cal) to be able to check if something hidden would stop you from being able to get to .25; it looks do-able but it will take some fine work removing just enough material from the ring (10 times) that actually holds the pellets, open up the slot in the clear cover to a little more than the current 16/64 inch width, and perhaps you will need to thin the outside wall inner face also? I can see how the .177 and the .22 can remain "centered" for the bolt to push into the barrel but removal of material from the mag for .25 will need to consider that alignment requirement in addition to just simply fitting in the magazine. HTH and also another problem disscussed below if you aren't already disgusted enough

Have you thought about the fact that the .25 cal pellets are proportionally longer and it may be that .22cal may give much the same energy as the .25cal that will fit lengthwise? Some of the better .25 cal will just not fit and allow the mag to operate even if you open up to .25 because of length. The reason I discussed a custom mag .25cal made by Grant some time back for a Marauder. It might work for making every part of the thing thinner and also pehaps allow for slightly longer pellets. That said it would be a costly endevour no doubt.
