Hi Dwayne.

At present I cant, till i make the Indexing Unit that Rotates the Pattern and the Blank, BUT I'm Keen on doing Some in the Future for Sure. Drop Me a Line and at least we can have a Chat about Your Plans.

Ive always used mine for Grips, but to Do a Stock, I have to be able to Rotate the Pattern and the Blank, so You can get at the Shape Completely.

This is the Attachment I need to Make.

Finding the time.

June 16 2008, 12:49 PM

I think the que would keep it a busy machine, but where would you find the time to make it.
I certainly could think of a few stocks that need replicating in walnut.

Graeme

If it ain't broke you arn't trying hard enough

Hi Graeme.

June 16 2008, 1:26 PM

I already have the Router Made ages ago. The Attachment is Simple Enough to make, and I have the Sprockets and Chain here for it. Time is a Problem, but some jobs are quick to do, in between Longer Jobs that take Days/Weeks of Time on One Machine. It Will Happen, but because i have only bothered doing a few Grips from Time to Time, it hasnt been a Top Priority to make the Attachment yet. I would Love to Make a Few Nice Walnut Stocks, Droooolll !!

Grant.

Target Grips

August 9 2008, 11:33 PM

Hey Grant,

Just checked out the laminate target grips with an adjustable palm shelf.
Love how the grips extend pass the breech.

Your products and prototypes take custom Crosmans to a new level.

All the best
Ian

PS Are they likely to ever go in to production!

Hi Ian.

August 10 2008, 12:08 AM

I did Make 10 Sets of them about 18 Months ago. The Big Problem here, is that there is No Selection of Laminates Available apart from this Indonesian Hardwoods Marine Ply. Although they dont look all that Bad, a Few other Types of Laminates would have been Better to give Me some Variations. I have Intended to make More like These but probably Only in Walnut or One of Our Native Timbers Next Time.

Regards Grant.
