I have been busy setting up my new Windows 7 OS. I got it on release day and bought a new Western Digital 1TB drive to do a fresh install on. After using it for nearly a week, I gotta say it's impressive. Very nice GUI and loaded with new features such as "snap to" and "shake". Very stable too. The install was very simple and went quickly. What takes the most time is installing all your applications after. It's a very snappy and responsive OS, it doesn't feel bloated all. I'm running the 64 bit version of Ultimate upgrade edition.

Took me a couple days to learn where they put everything and to check out all the features. I have to agree with what a lot of people are saying that this Windows is the best one yet. Good job Microsoft.

I did notice your absence and was thinking of dropping you an email to see if you were OK, but you reappeared, Lol. I just heard about the New Windows last weekend, so im just waiting to see how people like it. Ive know a few people that didnt think much of Vista, but the Latest Windows should be pretty Good. Any first impressions yet??

7 ought to be pretty good. from what i've heard it is MUCH better than vista. which is no surprise.

i've been messing w/ his stuff since 3.1 and he's renowned for bringing out a quote, new, unquote, os and then having to develop a following os to do what all the geeks i know call, a BUG fix.

isn't amazing that old slick william, gets lots of moolah for real, to put it nicely junk and then brings out something that should have been done in the first place. if this had happened once, even twice, maybe give him the benefit of the doubt but, it's happened too many times for it to be simple mistakes. the man does know how to make money.

Vista was a pain for a lot of folks. Windows 7 is a pleasure. It's the best Windows to date in many peoples opinions including mine.
