Response to Roll call

This is me...

... and this is how I looked a couple of year ago:

This is one of my favourite photos - defying the weather at Leeds Festival:

And this is my car:

It's the only decent picture I really have of it (shameful I know), it's the picture off eBay from when I bought it 2 and a bit years ago. Unfortunately it's not as shiny or pretty looking anymore, having deteriorated slightly while standing around for 2 years waiting for me to pass my driving test.

Among other things that I won't pretend to know about, it needs:

A new exhaust, as the one it's got has 2 whacking great holes in it and it sounds like a bloody tank thundering down the road.

The bodywork sorting. The wheel arches were starting to go when I got it and are now most definitely on their way, as well as a random spot on one of the front wings, the leading edge of the bonnet, the area around the window on the tailgate, and other various bits. If anyone knows a good place in the Midlands to get this sorted by the way, I'd be much obliged. I'm a total mechanical numpty and don't fancy taking an angle grinder and/or a welder to my baby.

A new heater. Mine's started making some really weird noises.

Those chrome rim things on the wheels. One was pretty wrecked when I got it and now they're all like it.

A 5-speed gearbox. It drinks like a fish and growls like hell on the motorway.

A bloody good tune up!
