Well I have been gone for some time. My son was in a car accident March 25th, I have been out of town since at a hospital while my son recovers. My wife went home yesterday and collected my mail. A huge thank you to Christopher Brown for sending me the parts I need to complete my buffalo, along with a great resin buffalo nose section he crafted himself....

I also got the hurricane I purchased some time ago on ebay....and no it won't be done in the next

Below are some photos I had before I left town of the buffalo progress. Interior green was applied, engine painted, prop started, detail sanded down and mostly rescribed.

I will be out of town with my son for another month. At least I have these two models to putter around with while I am here (no airbrush...but I can do the building stuff).

As for the new multi engine build....I have a Halifax and He-177 partly completed from previously uncompleted builds, when I am home again I can enter one of them.

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature Airfix, Frog and Matchbox kits.

  1. Build as many kits as you like

  2. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  3. Any markings are acceptable.

  4. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
