So here she is in all her "glory". She's no contest winner, but at least I finally finished a kit after seven years of not doing so happy.gif

I still need to do some more weathering after I run out and buy some more pastel sticks and a few more colors of oils; seem to have misplaced my set of pastels sometime over the last decade. And I still need to install the pitot and rear-view mirror I made. By the time I got done doing (and re-doing...and re-doing) the rigging for the aerial wires, I just wanted to snap some pics and call it a day. And calm myself with a pint or three of Belgian Whit.

Had some difficulties with the Red Roo Decals two-part roundels, and ended up masking/spraying the white backgrounds for the fuselage roundels; should've done this for all of them, as evidenced in the photos. And yes, went a little overboard on the gun powder stains :/

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature Airfix, Frog and Matchbox kits.

  1. Build as many kits as you like

  2. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  3. Any markings are acceptable.

  4. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
