Here is my LCM built OOB. Kit qualifies as the LCM is powered by two 450hp. Diesels. Paint is Model Master. I matched the paint to a downloaded Navy color chip set., in an attempt to match U.S. Navy Haze Gray.

A question on Hyperscale's Ship Chat yielded the result that landing craft that were deck loaded were painted overall the same color as the ship. Black anti-fouling paint below the waterline was not used for assault boats. The numbers were the best I could come up with out of the scrapbox. PA= the ship type(assault yransport. 98= the ship hull #. 25= the boat # from that ship.

The LCM looks a little naked without a pair of single M-2 .50 cal. machine guns. The GMC Duece-and-a-Half is the Hasegawa 1/72 kit, loaded with supplies for the troops ashore. My Dad went ashore in one of these at Pelileu and Okinawa with one of his section's trucks and equipment. Sorry, Airfix, but the Duece looks better than the antique Sherman that came as part of the kit.

On the bench: Airfix S.A. Bulldog, Lindberg Arado.234 and Kingfisher, Pegasus Siemens-Schuckert D.III, & Toko Aviatik(Berg) D.1.
Thanks for looking. Adios, Larry.
