Hi everyone.

I suppose it's time to reveal the scheme I'm doing from the Xtradecal sheet.

First we have gloss white on certain areas.

When dry, the second colour was applied, Hu 174 (Red Arrows Red).

[IMG][linked image][/IMG].

This was then masked and the Oxford Blue Hu 104 was applied.

Have you guessed yet? happy.gifhappy.gif

Of cource it's the Empire Test Pilots School scheme.

The final main colour is satin black on the anti glare panel and the inlet anti ice areas.

There's a bit of clean up to do and some overspray to get rid of but that's the painting done.

All the other bits are ready too.

I'll leave it all to dry properly for a couple days and then hit it with two or three coats of Future, followed by decalling and final assembly.

I think I can see the finish line.

Thanks for looking.

Stu

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature Airfix, Frog and Matchbox kits.

  1. Build as many kits as you like

  2. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  3. Any markings are acceptable.

  4. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
