I'm gonna have a few days off now due to better half obligations - so no paint until next weekend - and that is at the soonest, the good lord knows what grains of sand will end up in my carefully thought out plans
I tried dropping the wheel well PE parts into the openings - as you did - but it didn't fit in the middle, not even with some pushing - I'm surprised to see your PE parts fitting so snuggly in the wheel bays... funny I didn't think of removing some of the plastic to make this possible - anyway, good this is the underside of the model, so it's not that much visible
