I bought this at a show, later at home went through it more carefully and found some stuff missing...
Does anyone have em? Is it worth building?

Please let me know what you think..

Hannant's has the Helldiver listed as being set for future release, so it's only a matter of time before it's out again. Plus, as you well know the group build isn't going anywhere. happy.gif

I already spent 5.dollars on this kit and can't see buying new.
This GB is for Airfix. I am letting it sit abit before I get amovement started to change it to classic kits, not just Airfix.

Well

That's what plastic pics are for. Be happy that the Airfix build was well enough received to warrant its own forum.

You may consider just buying another kit since you need 6 or 7 parts. They are pretty cheap on eBay - $5 or so?

Happy to see you are saved :-)

I have had this experience a few times as well - buying cheap 2nd hand at shows has its dangers

Although sometimes you get more, a very long time ago I paid $1.00 for an Airfix Phantom - and there were 2 of them in the box - it made my day

I just bought an Airfix Birddog, it was complete, but the cockpit was already started - which is not so bad as missing parts, but still a big annoyance

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature Airfix kits.

  1. Build as many kits as you like

  2. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  3. Any markings are acceptable.

  4. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
