In Savannah, Georgia and Avon Park, Florida, the Army carried out field tests in which mosquitoes were released into residential neighborhoods from both ground level and from aircraft. Many people were swarmed by Mosquitoes, and fell ill, some even died. After each test, U.S. Army personnel posing as public health officials photographed and tested the victims. It is theorized that the mosquitoes were infected with a strain of Yellow Fever. However, details of the testing remain classified."

TAMPA BAY MUFON's David Ring writes they have started investigation of the Lsound case and his videos. The images he presents under magnification may be distortions. (This may be due to the difficulty of obtaining good night time videos.) The area where lights are being seen is on the flight path to Avon Park Bombing Range. Flares are know to be used in the area. He does have some unusual video footage which has been evaluated by one of our local computer whizzes that seems interesting. We need to obtain more information about Lsound's unusual experiences. There may well be something there, but additional investigation is needed. Lsound claims to have seen a physical craft about 50 to 100 feet above his car after chasing one of the lights last year. That does not mean all the lights he or his children see are physical craft. We have asked him to alert us when he next sees the lights so we can make our evaluations of what is out there.
