Everytime I think I'm close to killing it, it busts out with a curse that kills 2-3 people. Then when they come back to life at 1 HP (have auto-life on as much as possible), he busts out with a doomsday or some other weapon of mass destruction to slaughter me.
If your talking about that boss in Chocobo Sky Garden drain him of his magic, Vivi's Osmose is good and Quina has a spell too but i forgot what was, anyway when he has no MP to cast those big spells it makes the battle a lot easier.

It would seem Curse doesn't take any MP (that's probably his most devastating attack… although sometimes Doomsday gets lucky and kills everyone).
And usually shortly after I can drain his MP, he uses a little attack called "Absorb MP" that takes all the MP from the character it hits and gives it to Ozma. The obvious solution to that would be to drain my MP before he can, but then I have no effective way of recovering from curse.
