I hate it when weapon shops sell weapons for characters I don't have yet. FF9 when the shops sold spoons for Quina made me backtrack to find Quina.

Harps and Robot Attachments? Okay so that takes care of spybot but what about that harp?

Also remember in Chrono Cross how you had to buy like 30 swords just to keep the whole party set?

But was rejected so noone is harp-equipable in the party, but stores are still selling 'em.

I'm just going to the Water Dragon before walking into a volcano or whatever, and Serge is the only one doing respecable damage, so my force consists of whoever I feel like at the time, cuz I don't realy like any of 'em.

He has shown up multiple times wanting to join. Karn only told him no once. The other times he sustained injuries that required a lot of healing so he couldn't join. Besides, he's shown up more than Killer Evil Death Spybot 5000 and he has stuff in the shop. So I have a feeling the Bard might join eventually. And if he does, maybe he will finally get a name!

d> They're like Ribbons, only bigger.

e> They're Silver Harps from Dragon Warrior and quadruple the random encounter rate.

I had plenty of gold through most of Chrono Cross, so parts were the only real problem. Everybody has starting equipment that you can re-equip (just be sure to keep it) so you can give whoever's currently in your party the good stuff. And if they use a different weapon, just dismantle the one you have now and make a new one.

Now That's an idea!
