Just thought I'd mention that Akira is in theatres in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Now I only need a way to get to those cities.

Is it dubbed or subbed? Or is that a stupid question to ask? (I hated the dub)

Not that it matters to me, I'm in Newfoundland

It's dubbed. I didn't think the dub was that bad, though (better than a lot of dubs, at least). Of ourse, subbed is still better.

I've already watched Akira subbed on Sci-Fi channel when they were still showing anime early morning :-/ Now it gives me the creeps on what they are going to edit out on the dubbed version.
