The fact that it's Microsoft will probably hurt it a bit. What they should've done is create a sub company for the X-Box. All they would have had to do is move some funds to create a new company, set up shop in Japan, and give it a cutting edge name. Maybe even steal a couple of designers while they're at it. Maybe they could even get Dave Perry... I kid. We don't like him, and I apologize for even mentioning his name.

But as for Microsoft being evil... they did violate the antitrust laws and all, but they also gave us reasonably priced, reliable (comparatively), and high quality software. But I digress. They are evil, but they did do some good.

Oh man that is some funny shit! I use linux. it was free. i use gimp for graphics. it was free. i built my computer out of surplus parts. they were free. i only paid for the monitor. i have had this computer for 5 years and it has never crashed on me. i only use my windows partition to play oni.

Now I just think they're an evil, soulless corporation that I don't like much.

I forgot about Win ME. That thing is as stable as a rock. Good stuff. Not a single crash, tons of nifty features...

So in conclusion:

microsoft is an evil company, with SOME quality products.

Win2K = stable
WinME = POS

You're right. I have never seen 2k. But ME is stable. I have it. And have had it for almost a year now. The only problems we have ever encountered were AOL related and the features in ME saved our asses on severeal occasions. So don't dis ME.
