It's great, everything is on one place, not to mention many people are already using EZBoard. It also compresses threads, which is very practical. The only thing is that I prefer the light colour motif of this page - the new one is so dark.
Also, I think there should be an extra board for class wars, so the bards and fighters leave us alone

3. Boo says if Boo splits up the Battlegrounds onto yet another forum while Boo is attempting to trawl them for the compendium Boo will make with the kicking and the biting! Grrrr!

The only things I have to say are that I like the look of the new place. Though I will miss this colour scheme as it reminds me of the old Adventurers! colour scheme which was pretty good.
And the only other concern I have is losing access to the old archives while working on the compendium. But, since that doesn't seem like it's gonna be a threat, so all I have to say is that the new place doesn't look half bad. You do lose a bit when you can't see all the posts, but with our proclivity for spontaneous bardic wars, that's probably a good thing.
EZboard is a bit more customizable, but the popups and long load times are annoying. Meanwhile this board is simple and to the point. Granted, some people may prefer compressed threads, but I'm not one of those people.
Eh, I like the other board better.This is my first post. Been reading since like #200 or so. I guess I should be more active. The other board is better IMHO. Im gone.. Evil Frog out.
I like the other forum much more than this one. This one seems kinda dull IMO. The other one is much more colorful and seems more like what I was expecting from the ADVENTURES! forum, I guess. =)

Yes I'm putting post count and built in polls into the minuses. Post count generally leads to spamming for a higher rank and things like "I'm better than you because my rank is higher than yours!" and so on. The built in polls jump to the top every time someone votes. And it gets very old very quickly when everyone makes a poll about every little thing. Not to mention it takes up half the first page with useless junk.
this isn't supposed to be a bloody business meeting. the post counts and stuff are there so you can have fun with it! That's all there is to it. People need to stop overanalyzing that which shouldn't be analyzed to begin with.

Some peoples idea of funny rapidly turns into my wanting to put their head through the wall. And I'm not overanalyzing it, these are pet peeves of mine that have been built up for a while.
I like the post counts in forums where you get to have titles and everything (I personally think they're fun =) ), but Krono does have a point. There's a few boards out there where people consider themselves "higher" than others simply because they have more posts than everyone else, even if all they do is spam.
But, if you can ban on the new board, perhaps a way to stop that from happening is banning people for a while that take it too far? It'd be a shame to take away a neat feature because of a few morons.
