Why did this pinback go for so much?

I can`t believe the final price on this Reds Bob Purkey pinback anyone know what is up with this?Wish I had one to sell!

Dan, advanced pin collectors know how seldom some obscure Stadium pins become available.

I once saw 3 common Cardinals go for $1200. It blew me away. Some of these Stadium PM10 pins are common, others fetch this price. You can throw away the price guides on these issues.
