Football memorabilia

I am curious what other posters have to say about posting and/or discussing football memorabilia in this forum. I am by no means what one would consider a frequent poster so I feel it would be in appropriate to be taking the liberty initiating off topic posts. But I do have a few unique items I think others would be interested in seeing and I'd certainly love to see others' items as well.

Well, I'm new to this forum but I did take the time to read the rules and from what I can read, items such as programs, photos, postcards and such are considered "related topics". Maybe I'm wrong though. Is there a line in the gridiron we cannot cross?

Not exactly a busy message board (yet). I'd absolutely vote for anybody to throw out posts regarding memorablia, or anything interesting for that matter.

I would not think that would be off topic. What do you collect?

I agree...not a lot of traffic in the football section so have at it.....It's different when there are 20-30 threads a day like in the Pre-war section..Also, you can sort of police yourselves for the most part ..take care

Sorry for the delay in getting back after I initiated this thread. I collect most every item related to Wisconsin sports (Packers, Badgers, Brewers/Braves, Bucks/Hawks, etc.). My avatar is Aw-gust the old American Association Brewers logo.

Here's a couple items I've never seen anywhere else before...

A poster from what I believe to be 1950 welcoming new Packer coach Gene Ronzani.

I'm only guessing on this one, but I believe this pin was from high school alma mater Milwaukee Riverside. Ed played from 1937-41 and is a member of the Packers Hall of Fame.

Here's one more that you don't see very often, Larry Fritsch's uncle Ted.

All three of these were flea market finds.

Almost nothing John. I have a few reprints & that's all. I haven't been looking that hard and I don't have the money to buy much anyway.

Here's some items I've come across and since sold...I don't hold on to the football stuff so I don't keep it long, but I've had some pretty nice items.
