1969-70 Topps Ruler For Sale - Lew Alcindor

Chamberlain #11 NM no creases; fold lines are how card was packaged - SOLD

Alcindor #10 same condition as Wilt - $40

Also have Cunningham, Reed, Thurmond, Greer, Goodrich, Unseld, Bing, Monroe, Boozer, Hayes, Howell, Hudson. Will get scans/prices on request.

I am glad you posted this because I have a ruler set and the alcindor looks like it is cut uneven. These were mine since I was a kid, I see yours looks similar, were these possibly cut by hand by a paper cutter or some other means?

I think that the paper cutting process was not always 100% alligned. If the paper was a little off, it would be cut to give a diamond cut and when unfolded, would look like a strange hand cut job. You see this more aggregious cutting in T202 cards sometimes. A full set must look pretty with the bright colors they used.

Thanks for the explanation, it fits. as long as we are on the topic I have seen tons of 60 fleer baseball all time great cards with extremely unusual cuts. Are you familiar with that cutting process. It really is bizarre.
