There really isn't a season for powerlifting like there is for track. The team usually lifts in 2 meets per year, you can do more if you want, but we lift year round. We always lift in a meet during the fall semester and always lift at Collegiate Nationals in April. Unlike most sports or teams we are very understanding with practices. For the most part the team practices at various days and times during the week, and around everyones schedules normally. A lot of people worry about how stong they are when they join the team, don't worry. We have some of the best powerlifting routines and one of the best coaches in the sport. Most of our lifters never powerlifted until college and ended up National Champions. That is an awesome raw bench for a 148 though.
