I know it's no big deal. The difference between myself, and the thundering herd of moron moonbats, is that I knew it was no big deal with Bush either! Remember? Not so long ago? The moonbats took Bush's serial speech flubs, and in very short order, had him all fleshed out in their comic books to be a bumbling moron, based on nothing more than that! With each new flub, the race was on, to get here and report it, followed by at least one coolness roll-call, and then all the requisite "LOL"s, and "ROTFLMAO"s. Well funny thing! Obama is racking up a pretty impressive flub score himself for his short time in office! Golly gee now! Where's all the reports, hmmm? And the icing on the cake? Obama is portrayed by his groupies as some magical silver-tongued orator, which *nobody* ever claimed of Bush! Pointing out the transparent childish double-standards, and hypocrisy of the Left is like shooting fish in a barrel. But who ever said that wasn't fun?
gus.
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama sees his secretary of defense just about every day, but he still flubbed Robert Gates' name on Thursday.
Gates was in the crowd for Obama's national security speech. Pointing him out, the president said "William Gates" was on hand. Perhaps Obama was thinking of Bill Gates, the Microsoft billionaire.
The defense chief, who goes by Bob, was also misidentified at a Pentagon ceremony on Tuesday. Then, he was introduced as Ronald Gates.
I've been taking note of his flubs starting after he was sworn in. IMO Some pretty funny stuff but he doesn't even come close to Bush 43. To be fair Obama has only been in office about 5 months. Perhaps he will eclipse Bush 43 next year, but I doubt it.

As I recall, Bush43 performed extremely well when he used a teleprompter, too. Difference is, Bush43 didn't feel it necessary to use a teleprompter for the majority of his appearances, unlike Obama.
There was a thread I saw on another board (oops...can I even say that anymore?) where people photoshopped teleprompters onto various Obama pics/situations. It was hilarious!
Difference is, Bush43 didn't feel it necessary to use a teleprompter for the majority of his appearances, unlike Obama.
So Bush 43 didn't use a TelePrompter for the majority of his speeches? Did he memorize the majority of his speeches? OMG! That's hilarious.
BTW feel free to call out another poster on this board for discussions you are having on other boards. Call her/him every filthy hurtful name you wish... after all it's all about making yourself feel superior. Your thread wont be deleted but don't be surprised if we don't all cheer you on for that kind of childish behavior.
"...G.W. Bush seems smarter every day doesn't he?"
Obama's gaffes aren't important in any way except to-- once again-- reveal the depth of liberal hypocrisy.
They spent years, 24/7, trying to create an image of an incompetent president. We shouldn't have been surprised, seeing what they tried to do with Reagan.
Still, it was deeply disappointing. And polarizing.

Read what I said AGAIN. I said APPEARANCES, NOT SPEECHES.There IS a difference. Obama is so fearful of making a gaffe that he needs his teleprompter. He didn't use one much on the campaign trail because he'd memorized all of his talking points...yada, yada, yada. Gheezus! You Obamaniacs are tho thensitive.
p.s. I'm not even going to bother with your other idiotic paragraph. Take a Midol or get a prescription for YAZ, if applicable.
He's got thousands of "misspeaks" to go before he comes anywhere near Bush, but keep braying.
Depends on the flubs per speech, and the number of speeches. He has years left in office too, and many speeches to give. Like I said, he's off to an impressive start, especially for another "great communicator".
He's got thousands of "misspeaks" to go before he comes anywhere near Bush, but keep braying.
Baloney. You are editing the input from your environment in order to cling to your misperceptions of reality. It's too scary not to, eh?
Through out the campaign and for the last four months Obama has had dozens of gaffes and his admin has followed suit.
It wasn't until the "Bush stole the election!" hysteria started to die down that your ilk began to flog the peculiarities of Bush's speech. For so-called humanistic liberals, you guys crucified that man for purely political reasons.
Liberal hypocrisy then, liberal hypocrisy thriving today.

I'll know you are right when the desk calendar and the picture book come out.
What I heard today was clear, intelligent, just what the country needs and dedicated to the proposition that no one is above the law, especially not the President, and unlike dick face chaney the President knows his oath is to the Constitution.
That forgetting the Constitution is a gaffe that no Democrat will ever make, unlike you morons and traitors
