X-Ray Oddities
Australian police are still searching for clues in the death of 27-year-old Chen (Anthony) Liu, whom homicide squad detectives believe died from injuries sustained from a high-powered nail gun. In this police handout image made available April 24, 2009, the X-ray clearly shows 34 nails embedded in Chen's skull. Chen's decomposing body was discovered in Sydney's Georges River in November 2008.

er a gun is a tool, a nail gun is a gun used as a tool. Any tool makes killing easier, more convenient, less open to submission signals and more spontaneous than using your bare hands.

Guns don't kill people, people using guns for the purpose they were designed, kill people. Register all guns, license all gun owners, keep a national data base of both, its perfectly constitutional.

Our small coastal town is over 200 years old...we haven't had a murder in I believe 8 years here but we had one last week!
http://www.wmbfnews.com/Global/story.asp?S=10414781

Hit the link and read about it...but her throat was cut from ear-to-ear is what we're hearing! Maybe a gun wouldn't have helped the retired social worker maybe a freon horn blowing would have scared the murderers off and brought help! Until he was caught and arrested I had a 357 magnum by the bed and had to check the doors and windows before we went to bed to make my wife (and me) feel better!

The irony is that my wife hates guns! She believes she can reason with a robber that has broken into the house....maybe Mrs. Myrie thought the same! She lived in a house that had been moved onto a lot from across town. She had fixed it up and made it the showplace of the neighborhood and I'm sure just wanted to live her life out and continue to help everyone she could in whatever way she could! Her funeral is tomorrow...the church is about three blocks from my house and it'll be full of friends and even many that didn't know her but will be there to represent our community and small town...as it should be!

This has to stop. Politics has no place in it...it has to stop! We as people...We as "We The People"...must put an end to this idiocy...this madness! Taking away the guns of those of us that obey the law is like taking down the fence protecting the sheep from the wolves! and the wolves are always out there...and they are always hungry! If she was alive Mrs Myrie would tell you what it feels like to be confronted by one of these animals...what it feels like to feel the blood warming your closes as it runs from your throat draining the last of your life that you never...ever thought would end like this!

I have no problem with guns, I even have less problem than the Supreme court does, I have not needed one for personal protection in a long time and have gotten out of danger without one. However if you want one and are a reasonably law abiding person you should have one, or two or however many you feel you need. But they should be registered to you. You should have been vetted for a license and if the guns are carelessly misused or lost, you should be liable for damages.

It's not really the laws...it's the punishment! Probations..slaps on the hand! Look at all the people that have been raped or murdered or maimed by someone that "SHOULD" have been in jail!

We make laws that serve as a fence around our society...to keep us safe within and to keep the bad out! If we do not enforce our laws...keep our fences mended, we put all of us in jeopardy young and old...which BTW is usually who the wolves go after first...just as in nature!

Killing a person and being convicted of doing so should be the last step in "socialization" of a human...there has been a life taken for no reason that we as humans can see as a "reason" to not take yours as the killer! That says it...not waiting 18-20-25 years to finally pay for your crime against society, that's not punishment! Take a look at the last video of the Boston Strangler...his prison life was Club-Med...complete with implanted breast and drugs! Damn!

I believe that X-Ray is really an MRI of gillis's brain..  You can label two of the nails "Glenn Beck" and "Rush Limbaugh" ..  He does need one through the forehead (cerebrum) from Ayn Rand.

Other than that, the picture is complete.

It costs a lot to catch, prosecute and incarcerate law breakers, you are gonna hafta pay some more taxes to lock em up.

BTW studies show that its the surety and immediacy of punishment rather than the severity that deters crime. So beef up the courts and the public defenders then get a ruling that the right to a speedy trial includes the public.

A sword-wielding man dressed in black robbed a 7-Eleven in McKinney, demanding cash and cigarettes, authorities said.

The robbery took place about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 7900 block of Eldorado Parkway, police said.

Minutes after the robbery was reported, police stopped a driver in a Nissan Altima near the store. Inside the vehicle, officers found a sword, money and merchandise. Police declined to specify what had been stolen.

The driver, Phong Nguyen, was taken to the Collin County sheriff's office and charged with aggravated robbery, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.
