but to hope that Obama's polciies fail.

If the policies and legislation works, the GOP is going to find itself on the outside for decades to come.

They hope and they pray that everything Obama does results in failure. I understand their worry but even I was surprised to see the preacher (on youtube) praying for Obama's death.

edited to say; their worry has absolutely nothing to do with his policies right or wrong... it's all about the power and controlling the masses.

Nonsense.  That's what the "Republicans" in your issue comic-book think.  There's no particular evidence of that in the real world.

LOL! Do you know see what's happening in this country? This isn't about partisan politics as far as "we..you-me-us" are concerned...it's about the transformation of this country into a Euro-Socialist style democracy! I for one damn sure hopes he and his leftist pals fail...if not my grandchildren will grow up never knowing the freedoms that hundreds of thousands of Americans have died to protect! Wake-up this is happening!

Speak for yourselves AJC and CJ.  I could care less about the politics of his policies.

That's all that concerns them...the politics.

And you have bought into the full load of BS that the Republican party is selling. Yep... the reason the Republican party selected McCain is because he was sooooo different from anyone on the Democratic ticket. The Republican party would never go along with any Socialists programs nor would they ever subvert any of your freedoms... chortle, snort, guffaw!

It's getting to be an old mantra. The Republicans want the Democrats to fail and the Democrats want the Republicans to fail. The fact is, I don't seriously believe that the average Democrat or Republican really wants the other to fail. It's all rhetoric and most of the doom-sayers are merely saying what their colleagues expect them to say.

McCain wasn't a good choice.  He was just the only choice other Obama and his far left removed-from-reality policies.

For someone who doesn't know the difference between Socialism and Social Programs, CJ makes a good point. But if CJ actually knew the difference, the statement would show a glaring ignorance./
