The quiet before the storm.

I am surprised. I totally expected the youth here in Boise Idaho to have started by now to set off their fireworks before the City sets off theirs. The City is going to start shooting their fireworks in 35 minutes. No matter what happens I will have to get my dog in the basement again tonight.

It's sad that the animals can't possibly understand that we humans need so much noise, visual stimulous and confusion to have a good time.  All the poor things do is panic.

My little guy was OK with it. But in my neighborhood there was hardly any fireworks. But at my last home he was frightened either.

But my previous dog had to have a prescription Valium every year on the 4th.
