Every day hundreds of helicoptors and planes fly over NYC. Today, the inevitable happened and a plane hit a chopper killing 5 italian tourists, the helicoptor pilot and all abord the plane. I'm glad they keep them over the river for the most part, because I don't want debris coming down on me on the roof garden, where, some people actually saw the crash.

I used to jump from Manhattan over to JFK on a helicopter regularly. I remember thinking that if one flying vehicle in the dance above NYC missed a beat.... Pow.

It's so scary because they fly over the building when we're sitting in the roof garden.  I always worry about one of the coming down right in my cocktail.  Ater 9/11 we had fighter jets buzzing the building.  I'll tell you one thing, love it or hate it, NYC is never dull.  I think it keeps me alive.  LOL!
