I think Gibbs will try to stick it out until next year's midterms are over, so put me down for November, 2010 when the critters leave for their winter break (Thanksgiving?).
Gibbs seems like an okay guy. I'm not sure he thought his job would be this difficult, especially after riding the Obama hope/change train into the WH. I really think many who knew they'd have a job in the admin post election date thought things would be smooth sailing for the entire 4 years, unless something truly out of the norm occured, such as what happened in 2001 to Bush. Reality has set in for the funtimes and adoration campaign express. The honeymoon's over. Now, they're facing the real job and ALL of the citizens, not just those who showed up at rallies, state fairs, acceptance speeches, etc. to get their bottled water, and a double with a nod from Obama should they faint.
