Robert Gibbs

Robert Gibbs is looking pretty stressed out.

The way Gibbs handled the Major Garret question demonstrated his collapsing electrolyte levels.

Clearly, he doesn't work out. So the stress of fronting for Barry is taking him out of chemical balance.

Do we have a Disgusted Press Secretary Quits Pool going on this board?

I pick December 1, 2009, and November 15.

I think Gibbs will try to stick it out until next year's midterms are over, so put me down for November, 2010 when the critters leave for their winter break (Thanksgiving?).

Gibbs seems like an okay guy.  I'm not sure he thought his job would be this difficult, especially after riding the Obama hope/change train into the WH.  I really think many who knew they'd have a job in the admin post election date thought things would be smooth sailing for the entire 4 years, unless something truly out of the norm occured, such as what happened in 2001 to Bush.  Reality has set in for the funtimes and adoration campaign express.  The honeymoon's over.  Now, they're facing the real job and ALL of the citizens, not just those who showed up at rallies, state fairs, acceptance speeches, etc. to get their bottled water, and a double with a nod from Obama should they faint.

His electrolyte levels have nothing to do with his stress levels.   Do you recall how many Press secretaries DUHbya went through?

Moniker, if you're speaking about the question re: the Axelrod emails, Major is "on it"!  He was just on Cavuto with an update.  It's getting interesting, too.  That's one reason I jumped on the board to see if anyone was speaking to the issue.  Apparently people either don't know about it or don't care enough about it to discuss it.  Probably the latter, based on most reactions to this admin's actions.  But, had it been Bush...hoo-boy!

Oh, I see Jane has already mentioned the number of Press Secy's Bush had.  Fleisher was a prick, McClellan was a dick, and Tony Snow (RIP) got sick, Perino (sorry, can't get an -ick word goin' here...).
