On CNN this AM they had a panel whick included one Repulican Rep and Senator.
They were both asked about an email - apparently the same one that Carolyn posted weeks ago and the specific section about end of life counseling.
And neither would say that the distortion about it being mandatory or "dealth panel" was wrong.

It appears more likely that you have a meaningless opinion. You have judged the Republicans' motives rather than offer any proof for reaching your concluisons.. dop you have any proof that their reason is to bring down Obama? There is NO provision for "rationing" care for the elderly, skippydog......but then YOU lie for a living. NONE of the other industiral countries that already HAVE universal healthcare "ration" care to the elderly either.

I know you weren't. But you cannot separate debt and claim that only the rich will pay for anything. Tax dollars are collected and used to pay bills. So to say only the rich will pay for anything is an out and out lie.

Now you can disagree with what I conclude is one reason - that they really just want to stop the legislation no matter what they have to do including deceit and outright lies. And the reason for this is to make Obama look bad and defeat him.
I don't expect you to agree with that interpretation. In fact there are always other interpretations available.

What am I suppose to be refutting? I dodn't disagree that social promotions take place.
I don't think is as pervasive as you do though.
And I also agree we need to fix the education system. We need to equalize resources so that all students have access to the same level of facilities. That will go a ways to leveling the playing field.
We also need to work at getting parents involved and requiring work at home on school tasks. Good luck at getting that done though - since many don't value education. It is the it was good enough for me so it should be good enough for them thought process.

But it could be that we have too many entitlements, and the gountry is over taxed. That is good reason not to have additional entilements. Not simply to defeat him.
