I found this article posted on another board and this is my comment to it there:

If we see a high increase of violence the blood will be on the hands of many many rightwing pundit and will be done by people who feel as if they are completely justified because of those pundits.  The rightwing pundits are fanning the flames of a new revolution in those people, many of whom believe that their view of America is the only acceptable view and the rest that are just natural born followers who have exposed themselves to the pundits and do little thinking on their own.

It only takes a few of you crazies to do a lot of damage.  Go ahead and defend their speech, they certainly have a Constitutional Right to it but just remember the consequences of it as well. 

No, Gillis, I don't want to take your guns, I want you to act responsibly.  Think you are capable of doing that.  You are the ones that should be condemning this kind of speech, not because they don't have the right to say whatever they want but because you are the ones adversely affected by the consequences of it and it is the responsible thing to do.

  "Fanning the flames of revolution" gave birth to this nation.  Let's not forget the early *majority* of good solid well-meaning citizens who were horrified by the Founder's and their supporters.  And the birth of this nation set the *tone* for this nation.  It was a "revolution" that birthed the labor movement, with a hell of a lot more resulting violence than anything since.  It was a "revolution" of free-thinking Black people who refused to follow the dicates of their society that birthed the civil-rights movement, resulting in it's share of isolated incidents of violence as well.  Then came the numbnut contemporary Left, who have been howling about "revolution" in some form or another for 40 frigging years!

   No, what you don't like, and what Frum doesn't like, is *who*, not *what*.  Your goddam "idiocracy" is not towing the line like they're supposed to!  Exactly like those "uppity nigras" in the south in the 60s!  When what they are doing is following the redress of grievances *exactly* as it is laid out in the Constitution!

   Nobody has fired a shot.  The only people so far to have rough anybody up are Leftwing union thugs!  But the *message* is ringing loud and clear!  And that is the point!  Perhaps certain numbers of our elected representatives will get their heads out of their asses for a welcome change, and realize who they work for!  And would a nice little civilized "debate" have been heard?  Har!  This very post is proof in itself.  The sabre-rattling has worried the ivory-tower pecksniffs of the Left, and it has worried their peers in Congress as well.  Good!  That's the whole idea!

  I may be wrong, because it is too early to tell, but the genie may *finally* be out of the bottle.  We may have reached a tipping-point from which there is no going back.  If that turns out to be the case, then this nation owes Obama, his thugs, and the Moonbat Congress a great debt of gratitude.  They finally made it *so* bad, that even the most recalcitrant, non-political Bubbas of We The People decided that by God, enough is enough.

Here is what I would like, Gus.  That the rightwing police itself, when they see people acting irresponsibly with their weapons, that you call them on it and do whatever it takes to keep the crazies under control.  When you hear incendiary speech by your pundits,  that you call them on it and let them know that their speech is not helpful.   I sincerely believe that it is the responsibility of the right to control the crazies in their ranks, exactly in the same way that you are always demanding of the left.  The only difference is that when your crazies get loose, they kill people.

    To my knowledge, no one has acted irresponsibly with a weapon yet in the context of this topic, unless it is the bozo who dropped his.  I rather enjoyed the irony of the fact that it was the police, and the Secret Service who were satisfied with the lack of actual threat of the armed people at the rallies.  It was to morons of the media who were freaking out.  God knows, Ron, there are mountains of local, state, and federal gun laws to govern their display.  But you can be sure that if I become aware of any irresponsible action with regard to weapons, I will howl about it.

  No Sir, after what we on the Right have endured in the way of "incendiary speech" from the Left for 40 years, not on your life.  On the contrary, I think their speech is extremely helpfull, and besides, you and I wouldn't agree on what is "incendiary", if we spent the rest of our lives trying.

   No crazy on my side has ever killed anybody, that I have come out in full condemnation of it.  That will remain the case if anyone else is killed.  OTOH, your side has stood by complacently while countless lives have been impacted, and/or ruined, and countless billions of dollars wasted on property damage, lost time, blatant bullying, junk science, and misguided arrogance on the part of your crazies.  I consider that a *significant* difference.
