I translated his words to mean this, "My name is Pete Olson and I am stupid. I am stupid and I want you to be afraid of and hate the Government of the USA."

It's an anecdotal example of a situation in need of reform.  So how best to reform it?  Olson's point, however badly presented, is that a single-payer government system is *not* the way, on the contrary, it would only make the situation more common.

I can always count on you to miss the point.

Even if true (and we don't know that), this woman's story is a condemnation of the PRIVATE SYSTEM! ...  So, Olson is saying, [in essence], if you want your in-utero baby to die, stick with the current system, and if you also want your in-utero baby to die (no typo), then go with the new system??  HUH?

Jim..

So there is a better way than the government single payer system. Medical Savings Accounts with term insurance to cover the years the accounts are building. That way the patiernt can determine how much whe wants to spend.
