Indeed there is. Yet as the other responses in this thread indicate, Muslims are presumptively engaging in the former, whilst this group is presumptively engaging in the latter. Is it not possible for Muslims to feel the need to defend themselves? Not in AB's world, it seems.
Reasonable presumptions are always based on collected data such as patterns, trends, and history. That doesn't mean there is any sharp line here. A micro focus almost always reverals a different picture than a macro one. Without question, completely innocent Palestinians caught up in the border conflicts have felt the sting of Jewish "retaliation". I would rather doubt that they see it as justifiable.
