Glenn Beck's 9/12 Project

Of course, the wing-nuts will cry "lie! lie!" so please feel free to do so and then of course back it up. The only ONLY reason I am posting this is because I find Glenn Beck to be delusional and so far over the top he could be dangerous. If this is what is truly out there, if this is what some refer to as "we the people"....God help us.  Read on. Sable

This Saturday, right-wing protesters will http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28058&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28058&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">gather in Washington, DC for a march to oppose health reform, President Obama, "corruption," and "http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28059&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28059&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">an overall conversion to a socialist style government." The event, scheduled intentionally on Sept. 12 to coincide with the anniversary of the day following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, was conceived largely by Fox News' Glenn Beck. Beck, the http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28013&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28013&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">McCarthyite Fox News talk show host who has http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28060&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28060&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">lost dozens of advertisers for calling Obama a "http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28061&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28061&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">racist," is a relentless promoter of his 9/12 Project. However, most of the day-to-day organizing has been orchestrated by a now familiar set of lobbyists and Republican operatives who have http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=19294&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=19294&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">helped plan anti-Obama "grassroots" tea party events since February. In addition, a set of far-right groups are supporting the event, bringing along self-described "American http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28062&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/twitter.com');" href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28062&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68" target=_blank>mob members" to join in on the Obama-bashing.

BECK EXPLOITS 9/11: In the past, Beck has said he "http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28063&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28063&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">hates" the families of the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. In 2007, Beck criticized the supporters of the Ron Paul "Revolution" who did a fundraiser on Guy Fawkes Day: "It's really not the way I would go, http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28064&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28064&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">tying my movement in with a historical terrorist attack, especially in post-9/11 America." Nonetheless, Beck hosted a special program earlier this year announcing his initiative called the "9/12 Project" -- an effort to ostensibly recreate the patriotic unity after the September 11 attacks.  In addition to standing for Sept. 12, according to Beck, "9/12" stands for nine principles -- beginning with "America Is Good" and "I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life" -- and 12 values -- including "Reverence" and "Personal Responsibility." But far from calling for common ground, Beck explained that the purpose was to demonize his political opponents and declared that his movement would "http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28065&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28065&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">surround them." He has also implored listeners to attend the rally because they "may be the only thing that stands between http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28066&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28066&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">freedom and slavery." Members of the 9/12 Project have become a vocal -- and sometimes violent -- http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28067&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28067&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">presence at townhall meetings and http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28068&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68 href="http://app.mx3.americanprogressaction.org/e/er.aspx?s=785&lid=28068&elq=ac9439547eac4c169612704a92c9ba68">political protests.    I love it.  Even the Obama people, to a degree, have gotten the message, along with the more astute and open-minded of the media talking heads.  Certainly a whole gaggle of Democrat congresscritters have figured it out.  But you moonbats?  Har!  Noooo way!  And that's just perfect, it really is, because everytime you start up again with your "Republican operatives", and serial demonization of these just-plain-folks, you *galvanize* their determination even more, and add to their *numbers*, even more.  *You* have energized, and motivated into a genuine force of political nature, what could have been a momentary and temporary spasm of protest that you snickeringly refer to as "teabaggers".  Thank you thank you thank you...  It simply would not have happened without your help.  Just like Obama, who will go down in history as one of the most effective gun salesmen ever, if nothing else, you have certainly done your part for our cause.

Hope everyone is aware that there's a Keith!!!! request out there to get anything and everything you can on Glenn Beck.  Google it.  Started up right after Van Jones was uncovered, then resigned.  Key the Lone Ranger music....

The "Keith" thing was pretty much a joke. He said that after Beck posted on his website that he wanted his minions to start uncovering negative things about other "czars" he started his own investigation into Glenn Beck. Apparently, the most appalling thing they found is that Glenn Beck is.....Glenn Beck.

LOL...suckers

And any idiot knows that Beck went ballistic on Jones because he was instrumental in having so many sponsors bail on Beck. And so it goes....

You know there are a lot of people who are tired of corruption in government. The reason they are tired is that those who work and are responsible for paying bills believe the government should be responsible for living withing their means.

Glenn Beck has pointed out corruption in government and many hard-workiong people relize that a corrupt government will end the Republic. And Glenn has proved that we must do something regardless the party affioliastion.

But the MSM loves Obama and they will seek to destroy Beck.

I'll bet "Keith" would get down on his knees to get anyone to watch his show. Anything to get an audience.

Meanwhile, the unfettered, recovering alcoholic, truth-teller Glenn Beck is soaring. When you've been at the bottom with no future and only yourself to blame, shadows no longer scare you. Whispers don't deter you. You just see His path and follow it upwards. Good luck in shutting up Glenn Beck, my friends.

It's really a drag to be a democrat these days.

Who would have thought?

I like this tidbit that I read later on in his blog. Funny how Bech claims Obama is running a Fascist government when Bush was the closest we ever got to a fascist government we ever got. Many of his cabinet learned their fasscist ways from the Nixon Administration, and learned how to improve on it.

ECONOMY -- CENSUS BUREAU'S REPORT HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF THE RECOVERY ACT: The Census Bureau released its annual report on income and poverty levels yesterday, providing the first comprehensive look at the effects of the first full year of the recession. The report finds that the poverty rate is now at an 11-year high of 13.2 percent, with 39.8 million people in poverty -- 14 million of them children. This is an increase from the 37.3 million people in poverty in 2007, and it constitutes the highest number of people living below the poverty line since 1960. It is worth noting that, according to data compiled in the report, the Bush years saw an additional 8.3 million people fall below the poverty line. The report does not take into account the job losses during early 2009, when more than 700,000 jobs were being lost every month, so it is likely that the numbers will rise even higher. The Center for Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) looked at seven stimulus package provisions and found that they have kept more than 6 million people out of poverty in 2009. CBPP notes that stimulus package provisions such as increased tax credits, expanded unemployment insurance, and an increase in food stamps have prevented "more than 6 million Americans from falling below the poverty line and reducing the severity of poverty for 33 million more. Those 6 million people include more than 2 million children and over 500,000 seniors." This estimate doesn't even include direct assistance provisions such as "increases in funding for medical services, Pell grants, child support collection, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, and assistance to homeless individuals," which will undoubtedly help ease the impact of the recession. Despite all of this, conservatives continue to advocate canceling the stimulus or redirecting it towards debt reduction.

Why do you find it necessary to try to shut up Glenn Beck?

If he had nothing of value to say, no one would be listening.

Works for Olbermann.

Those of you who continue to use the 'sponsors lost' argument really need to check into the LIES that Van Jones' Color of Change org reported on those lost sponsors.  Yeah, some did drop Beck, but CoC's reporting was full of some made up shit, which they have NOT 'changed' on their website and pamphlets.  And, I find it really funny that you think Beck did what he did on Jones solely because of this sponsor bit.  Laughable!  Why don't you actually view some of the information on Jones?  In his own words, by his own actions, he proved himself to be the real asshole and racist.  Not to worry, though, old George Soros picked Jones up right after his fall, so he wasn't out of work but a few hours.

The one thing some of you are failing to grasp is that people like Jones are both in your face while others are buried deep in this administration.  But, when discovered, some are merely being removed from positions to get them out of the spotlight and off of Obama's association list.  But, the agenda they've preached and promoted will continue in the bowels of this administration.  And, IF you'd watch some of Jones' rants, you'd know exactly what's up.  Reverend Wright ain't even in the same league as this guy!

Questions:  Has Obama denounced Jones, his words, his agenda?  If not, why not?

Looks like it's a very successful march.

http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20090912/D9ALUKRO0.html

WASHINGTON (AP) - Tens of thousands of people marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, carrying signs with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick" as they protested the president's health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.

The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. People were chanting "enough, enough" and "We the People." Others yelled "You lie, you lie!" and "Pelosi has to go," referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

Demonstrators waved U.S. flags and held signs reading "Go Green Recycle Congress" and "I'm Not Your ATM." Men wore colonial costumes as they listened to speakers who warned of "judgment day" - Election Day 2010.
