No, considering that he may have set a new low for choice-of-words, Ted Jr. appears to be the one who is thoughtless. Big Ted is *your* holy icon, sport, not mine. If junior can't think on his feet any faster than that, then he has made the correct decision on entering politics so far.
Oh please, what? Are we going to canonize Kennedy now? I was the first to defend him and say we should respect him after his death. He was still a politician, and a very controversial one at that. You people have had no problem with the Reagan jokes...and many during his FUNERAL. So save your indignation for something else. sheesh.
Any politician knows what he is in for...especially one in it for 40 years.

I have lived in a number of other states and I see llittle difference in my life. Now since you must have lived in this state (since you claim to know about it) what do you find different?

I own guns and smoke cigarettes. I can't even legally *drive through* the PRM, much less visit, or live there. It's a workable system. If I found myself within 100 miles of the PRM, something is so dreadfully wrong, that confinement is probably best anyway.
I'd say Jr. is the thoughtless POS. Seems to me that family would have the sense to ban that phrase from their vocabulary out of respect for the Kopekne family.
I reckon royalty doesn't really feel the need to respect anyone.
I guess that's the difference---since we have never owned guns nor do any of us smoke. And I feel very safe where I live. I can go to the town square at any time of the day or night without fear. We don't lock doors or windows or cars in the driveway. And I don't have to ask people to not smoke in my house (I don't like the smell) because none of our friends smoke either. I take out-of-town guests to Minuteman National Park and most of them have no clue about those times.
And by the way, you can have guns in MA---they have to be registered, however. And you can even smoke, not just where I happen to be dinning. How good can it be?
I spent a month in Ma. with my late husband. He was from Springfield. I loved it. Loved the history of Ma. The only bad part of that trip, it was the month of July. I couldn't take that heat and the humidity.
I was glad to get back to Ca.
But while we were there we had a great time. Went to Quincy Square. Loved the food. Had to eat Italian though. My bro in law is Sicilian. LOL The people were so friendly and went out of their way to make you welcome. Any friend of Louie's was a friend of theres, no what I mean?

I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and
all the less important ones just never go away.
And the real pains in the ass are permanent.

You mean back when the free citizens of Massachusetts could own unregistered guns, and work out smoking manners amongst themselves? That was a long time ago. All the ones with any brains or pluck soon left and went west. The remnants began electing Kennedys.
