Its going to be awfully hard to avoid President Obama on television this Sunday.
The president is going to appear on five Sunday talk shows five to press his case for health care, White House officials disclosed. That is a presidential record.
Mr. Obama is going to appear on This Week with George Stephanopoulos on ABC. And Meet the Press on NBC. And Face the Nation on CBS. In between, he is going to sit down for interviews on CNN and Univision. (Fox News didnt make the cut).
Newsmakers in the past have managed to pull of the unlikely feat of hitting the big three Sunday interview shows on CBS, NBC and ABC. But this is a presidential first.
If theres one thing this White House doesnt seem worried about, it is that Americans will get tired of seeing President Obama. His talk-show marathon will come after the speech on Wall Street today and a rally in Maryland later this week.
The appearances will come at the end of a week in which the Senate Finance Committee will presumably have proposed its long-awaited version of a health care bill; the White Houses consideration of this idea suggests just how pivotal time this is in the health care negotiations.
Its also a reminder of just how much Mr. Obama is out there. As of his seven-month in office mark in August, he had done 114 interviews, compared to 37 by former President George W. Doffing my Professor Jim hat here, do you have any examples of recent reporting by Fox News that has been found to be "crap"? OTOH, where were the "mainstream" media with regards to Van Jones? The ACORN scandal? Like Charlie Gibson, if all *you* are listening to is the "unbiased" media, you could be stumbling around in total darkness.

No, actually it was Glenn Beck who was intsrumental in the 9-12 gatherings. He's now passed Hannity, and into the no. 2 spot in the national ratings. O'Reilly, of course, *owns* the no. 1 spot. And Fox News is just clobbering everyone else. Umm... I think I see a *pattern* here? That's some more of that nasty *history* that just won't go away.

Ron...read my lips...(or just a simple POST)... I have mentioned on numerous occasions that I don't listen to any of those. I OBSERVE what is going on around me and I make my decisions based on that alone. If you refuse to see what is going on, I can't help ya' buddy....You deserve what you end up with. Watch very carefully what Obama says....he will not give you specifics, and they will not ask for them.
