Today Republicans won the coveted West award.............this award given to sore losers is named for Kanye West champion of all who don't know how to accept graciously what qualified judges deem appropriate.

Rush is focused on more importnat issues, like his appointment to be a judge for the Miss America pagent......

There's been insurgency lately (Obama is president) and the deaths of our troops have spiked recently (Obama is president) but I wouldn't call that a failed war given what we've done in Afghanistan for the last eight years.
(Don't think for a minute that we're going to do much long-lasting adjustments to the simplistic "corruption" charges from the left. It's corruption to us but fits the ancient tribal structure of that nation.)

They have a crooked government that just barely has control of the capitol, a drug trade that has not abated, and their women still in burkhas. We haven't won anything yet, and unless we can keep the taliban from regaining control we will have failed. Ron, how long after Reagan stood and told Gorbachek [sp] 'to tear down this wall' did the Soviet's collaspe. It was Reagan's unrelenting stand on 'Star Wars' that scared the soviets into tearing down that wall. They couldn't match that because they didn't have the money.
