YEP they sure did....by not toeing the line like the rest of the media.

The lesson here is don't cross Obama, even if what you're exposing is the truth.

I have to admit I wasn't able to see it, (my security wouldn't allow me to see it) so I had to guess.

And there is that ne3ws story of the three Lacrosse players whose lives were ruined by CNN and their ilk. Hey, they had them convicted without a trial. Amnd did they report the NEWS when Nifong admitted the evidence was fl;awed.

So who rep[orts the truty? CNN did not mention Nifong until later when he was being disbarred. Sure. Real news.

For those who could not view it, the piece simply took clips of FOX network broadcasts, back to the date of President Obama's inauguration, and simply showed the clips of what they said, even before President Obama actually did anything.

No outside commentary, no wink, wink cutsie "this is what that means" .. all in their own (Fox "personalities") words.  Fox and their minions declared "war" on President Obama.  Anybody in their right mind would eventually decide to knock the bully down.

In short, the truth, as Jan headlined.

I think the whole stink is terrific.  The White House looks petty and thin-skinned(see: Nixon), nobody but the kool-aide slurpers are buying the "Fox is not news" message, and just like Limbaugh, it's the best thing that could happen to them ratings-wise.  But take heart, in the Magic Kingdom, MSLSD is now number one!

Nonsense.  Anybody who cared could do well edited clips of the assorted moonbats on MSLSD, and make them all look certifiable.  And CNN follows *them* in the ratings!  What Team Obama is twisted-off about is the NEWS that Fox has broken *first* that makes them look bad!(see: Nixon)  Had the totally-in-the-tank MSM done their jobs instead of working feverishly at becoming a national embarrassment, this might not have happened, and *bingo!*, there lies the *truth*!  The MSM may be spineless empty suits, but they aren't dumb.  Let FOX break the stories on Van Jones, or ACORN, and Team Obama will be sending out the Chi-Town Mafia with a message!  You're certainly old enough to remember the Nixon years, but you would slash your wrists before you admitted to the valid comparison.

Ok, gus, go do your well edited clips thingy since you know how easy it would be.  If someone tried to do a video with all the attacks on the Democrats that Fox has done since Obama's inauguration you would have to take a 6 month vacation just to view it.

Well, in that case, my project would take an 8 month vacation.  I regularly watch Keith, amd Maddow for my comedy quotient, and Matthews makes the youtube hit list so often that I seldom need to watch him.  Fox for third-graders, if you buy the bullshit about Fox, that is.

The Truth? In some cases, maybe. Others, meh.

October 23 2009, 9:13 AM

I watched the video.  But, I have a problem with largely one-liners which are thrown together to tell the "truth" when the context of those one-liners is MIA.  I remember how suddenly important context became during the 2008 campaign.  So, I found some of the one-liner clips in entire videos and watched them, too, for context.  It can, and does, make a difference.

While I agree with Jim that some (very few) of the clips were from January, and, in his words "before Obama actually did anything", the majority of them were about issues later than January, after seeing Obama in action.

And, as far as "before Obama actually did anything", his plans and policies were well known to media "personalities" as well as the general public who took the time to research them and stay abreast.  He changed his stance on some of those very issues once he took office, even adopting some of the former Bush policies which have garnered hardly any criticism from the liberals and especially the media outlets who ride the Obama train at full speed.  (yes, you know who they are)

Here is an MSNBC video showing how the WH emailed them during a live broadcast, correcting them:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZkDMrPrZHo

Now, what I would like to know is why they don't do the same during the Glenn Beck Show?  He has a dedicated line/# and a person staffed at the phone during the entire hour.  And, the WH has a person assigned to watch the Beck show, that is why the direct phone was set up in the first place.  The WH can email MSNBC live, but don't bother to correct anything being reported on Beck's show.  Why?  Because what's being reported is "the truth"?

If what FOX is doing is so troubling to the WH, why don't they 'correct' all false media reports live?

---------------

Sure.  But, why attack FOX as a whole and not attack the individual incidents which the WH deems inaccurate or damaging to the administration?  Surely, if there is false reporting occuring, the WH could counter that with facts to the contrary?

And how did Fox report the story?

Fox kept an open mind. They did not convict the three players -- they reported the news.

CNN convicted the three players because it wqs white boys who raped a Black woman. I don't recall that CNN ever said that her character was questionable until late in the case.

After ruining the reputations of the 3 players, CNN reported one time that Nifong had no real evidence.

Fox reported it periodically throughout the day.

That is real news reporting vs the opinion.

I haven't noticed any argument to refute what those people on FOX are saying. I have noticed the attack on those people but nothing to refute their message.

Gee, that is liberalism. Attack the messenger and forget the issues.

or is there some line in the sand you would draw on this?

[sorry if that sounds cynical.. I'm just feeding off your previous posts]

Jim...

It is because we have a montage of assertions without any substantive arguments. At least, they could have allowed the explanations to be aired, but if they did that, we might find that FOX is reporting the truth.
