They weren't suppose to have the votes according the wingnuts on the board.

This thing is going to be knocked down without a home run because the house and senate are looking at THEIR jobs and they are afraid.

So now it is up to the Senate to make this prediction come true.

Have heart even if the Senate decides to pass its version there is still the compromise process to reconcile the two bills to go through and that will be hard sleding.

I predict that by the time the sun sets on this bill Obama will be out of office. AJ seems I heard a few on this board saying the dems had the votes and why didn't they just go ahead and vote. I don't believe at the time Pelosi had them or she would have called it sooner. She was plenty nervous about this and I believe the dems that voted for it know it has to go through the senate where it is not popular at all and they fell on the sword for their leader hoping the voters will forget it when they come up for re-election.

They had about 5 holdouts that did not want to vote yes.  They were promised the vote would not be held until AFTER the November election.
