Do any of the PCP rifles get velocities nudging the supersonic? If so, there might be problems, looking at the shape of the average "Diabolo" pellet.
I can imagine that they might topple or wobble, particularly if slowing
through sonic velocity?
My old Winchester 63 would only cycle using HV .22 rimfire, but I never
noticed any peculiar problems in accuracy at range - but then I was rarely
shooting at more than 100yds. All the ammo was supersonic.
BTW, a simple mod to the Trigger mech would allow firing bursts - fun, but expensive, and very short bursts with a 10 round magazine! Bill.
