Dear Trilly,
We never met in person but one of the posts you sent
to senad this past week was about your outrage at some parents who subjected their handicapped child to plastic surgery so that he would no longer look "different". Your pain at knowing this child was loved less than he would have been had he looked 'normal' was heartwarming. You were obviously a person who delighted in the varied people and lifestyles that make up our world. It's a terrible tragedy that you won't be here to continue to teach the rest of us.
