Julie, I visited Vicky a couple of hours after she came-out to her father, and I remember her blind rage and fury at the way the conversation ended.....
What I can also tell you is that she when she was telling me about the conversation, she said to me (verbatium), "It didn't go so well when I was talking to him, he got mad, I got madder, and yet at the end of the conversation, I still told him I loved him, and he said that he loved me."
Regardless of their disagreement of her sexual orientation, she still told him that she loved him.
She forgave him later that night. Doesn't mean that she agreed with him, but she forgave him non-the-less.
Should you? Must you?? Can you???
I don't know, nor will I try to tell you.
