Perjury by Officials!

My son was convicted of arson and murder because the prosecution withheld exculpatory evidence from the court and jury which would have proved his innocence. He was charged with murdering his wife and setting the house on fire to cover-up the action. The State did not prove one single thing they presented. Our well-known attorney allowed prosecution to introduce false information with no challenge and the court accepted it. No proof of murder and no proof of arson! Medical autopsy report still lists cause of death as "undetemined." Not one single accelerant was found using the best K-9 dog in the state. Not one laboratory test showed even a trace of any accelerant, yet the State claimed they were used! They even presented Clorox as an accelerant! Clorox does not burn, it is 97% water!

The State had exculpatory evidence showing in three State Police photographs which we obtained after the trial which clearly show accidental cause of fire and death! Trial transcripts obtained show numerous examples of outright lies by state officials. Yet, they have knowingly sent a person to prison for 50 years who was never in any trouble with the law and who was a devoted parent, caring for their two children. And, the court denies him the right to see or to contact his children! He has not seen them for the last ten years!

No one in the State of Connecticut will do anything to bring this case to court since it touches too many officials in the state. His Habeas Corpus efforts have been languishing in the courts for six years with no end in sight. He is on his third public defender. One of his petitions was thrown out of court and he never knew about it until many months later! All they do is to drag the case out, hoping it will go away and never expose the state's complicity. We have all the documentation, copies of state documents proving his innocence. Yet, no action. No one wants to hear the truth! We have written to the Governor and many State officials with the common underlying "it's not in my jurisdiction." No one has the fortitude to expose this case and set an innocent man free! We have even written the President and Attorney General with similar responses.

This is the worst case in the history of Connecticut and perhaps in the country where an innocent person has been convicted with not one shred of proven evidence in court. Connecticut has shown its colors! it is no longer the "Constitution State." Where is justice when they can send a completely innocent person to prison for life and when the truth is presented, do nothing?
