I noticed a lot of people wondering how many shots you can get out of a Disco on a single fill. Also does a LDC or power adjuster change POA? And how accurate are they?Yesterday I decided to answer a few of these questions for myself as well as others.
Lets start with the Disco. Its a .22 caliber with 3 screw trigger mod,Mountain Air Muzzle Break modified to a mouse fart LDC(as quite as a Red Rider BB Gun),It has a Mountain Air Power Adjuster with stock Disco hammer spring.I also mounted a Barska Varmint Scope that is 6-24X42MM.Thats all I have done except to make the wood a little more to my liking and added 1" of pull to the stock.
I intentionally over filled it to 2300 psi as a starting point. All pressures are a guest-a-mit because of the Benji pressure gauge and its lack of numbers..
I used the heaviest pellets I had on hand 16.5gr.JSB Predators.I also opened the power adjuster to full power and left it that way.
My shooting was @ 50 ft. 6" above the Chrony eyes, and muzzle was 12"(1foot) from the front of the Chrony.
I shot off a bench with gun rested in a rifle rest.(BeanBag)I did not change POA at any time I used the 6 O'Clock method on the bullseye.

Personally I do not think there is a high dollar PCP that will keep up with a Benjiman Discovery as far as shot count goes.I will test again using Beeman 11.45 gr FTS pellets
My Disco loves them the best and sends them down range at over 900 fps.with groups of a 1/4 inch @ 50 ft.

Still Disco Dancing!
