Sear drag sounds like the problem. With the 3 screw mod, the sear isn't getting all the way out of the way of the hammer, which tend drags actross the sear, slwoing the hammer strike down. the screw that limits the sear's movement down AND the trigger overtravel screw should be backed out to test this. But i'll be with the screws back out (can leave the engagement limiting screw alone) it will go back to full power.
